our representative will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo, and transfer to enjoy amazing day trip to Alexandria. First visit Pompay’s Pillar. Lunch at local restaurant in Alexandria, and then we proceed to see the Qaitbay Citadel which was built on the old lighthouse location after it was destroyed by the earth wake , the citadel of Alexandria was named after sultan Ashraf Qaitbay who wanted to protect Alexandria city from the ottoman empire direct threats. Qaitbay citadel is one of top attractions in Alexandria city for its historic value and important position then to Bibliotheca Alexandrina. The Bibliotheca Alexandrina is a revival of the legendary ancient library built in classical Greek times. The rebuilding of the library has returned Alexandria to its former status as a center for learning and exchange and provided the city with a landmark building Finally you will drive back to your hotel in Cairo.
