ITINERARY:
Day 1: Arrival Cairo – Welcome to land of the Pharaoh’s
Welcome to Cairo, Egypt (Around The Clock) Start your Egypt Travel Package. Your tour manager will meet and assist you at Cairo International Airport (Arrival procedures) and then he will escort you to the hotel by exclusive air-conditioned deluxe vehicle. At the hotel, the tour manager will assist with a smooth check-in and review your holiday itinerary with you to establish and confirm pick-up times for each tour. Overnight in Cairo. Welcome Drink
Day 2: GIZA PYRAMIDS, SAKKARA AND MEMPHIS
the guide will pick you up from your hotel to start an exciting tour of the Pyramids of Giza: Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos. You will have an opportunity to take an amazing panoramic photo of the three pyramids, a must for this tour and other stunning photo opportunities. For an optional fee, go inside the Pyramid of Cheops. Then proceed to the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple of Mummification. Relax and have an enjoyable lunch at a local restaurant. At Sakkara, view the glory of the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the first stone building in history and also a tomb of one of the nobles. Then move to Memphis City and visit its splendid open-air museum where you will view the colossal statue of the great King Ramses II and the Alabaster Sphinx. At the end of the tour you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Day 3: EGYPTIAN MUSEUM AND THE CITADEL ( MOHAMED ALI MOSQUE) AND KHAN ALKHALILI BAZAAR.
Start your tour visiting Cairo’s Egyptian Museum, which houses an impressive collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities, consisting of more than 250,000 pieces, including Tutankhamun’s treasures, jewelry and gold, which was enclosed in his tomb for over 3500 years before it was discovered in 1920 when his tomb was excavated. After that, visit the Citadel of Salah El Din which was constructed by Salah El Din on the Moqattam hills in 1183 AD to defend Cairo from the armies of Crusaders. Continuing the tour, visiting Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque, which was designed by the architect Yousif Boushnaq, a Turkish man who came specifically from Istanbul and built this great mosque for Mohamed Ali, the ruler of Egypt (1805-1849) who ruled over 45 years. Then you will visit the oldest and largest market in the city, Khan Alkhalili Bazaars. After that, you will be transferred back to the hotel.
Day 4: Cairo – Fly back home
Breakfast at the hotel with free time at your leisure, then you will be transferred to Cairo International Airport for your final departure.
