ITINERARY:
Day 1: Arrival Cairo – Welcome to land of the Pharaoh’s
Welcome to Cairo, Egypt (Around The Clock) Start your Egypt Travel Package. Your tour manager will meet and assist you at Cairo International Airport (Arrival procedures) and then he will escort you to the hotel by exclusive air-conditioned deluxe vehicle. At the hotel, the tour manager will assist with a smooth check-in and review your holiday itinerary with you to establish and confirm pick-up times for each tour. Overnight in Cairo. Welcome Drink
Day 2: Giza Pyramids and Sakkara
After breakfast you will be accompanied by your personl guide to Giza Plateau to visit the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus – Famous Sphinx and Valley temple facing the great statue. Additional visit to the Solar Boat infront of Cheops Pyramid (extra ticket on spot). Lunch will be served in a good quality restaurant, and then proceed to Saqqara area to visit Saqqara Complex and first pyramid ever built (Djoser Pyramid). Move to Memphis; Old kingdom’s capital and famous Necropolis. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 3: Cairo Sightseeing Tours
After breakfast at your hotel in Cairo and then you will be escorted by your private guide to visit: Egyptian Museum, Treasures room for the child king Tutankhamen, alongside many other fascinating artifacts. Additional visit to the mummies room at the museum (extra ticket on spot) Lunch through out the tour at local restaurant, then moving to visit Salah El Din Citadel including Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque inside. Continue to Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Continue driving to Islamic Cairo, where you will be able to explore Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s old bazaar.
Day 4: Alexandria Tour from Cairo
our representative will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo, and transfer to enjoy amazing day trip to Alexandria. First visit Pompay’s Pillar. The story behind the name refers to the possible burial ground of the Roman general when he fled to Egypt and was assassinated after losing a major battle in Greece against Caesar. The red granite column was probably built to honour the Emperor Diocletain. Today it stands 25 meters high and is the tallest ancient monument in Alexandria. Then you drive to visit the Catacombs which are the largest Roman Cemetery consisting of three levels cut in the rock. Lunch at local restaurant in Alexandria, and then we proceed to see the Qaitbay Citadel which was built on the old lighthouse location after it was destroyed by the earth wake , the citadel of Alexandria was named after sultan Ashraf Qaitbay who wanted to protect Alexandria city from the ottoman empire direct threats . Qaitbay citadel is one of top attractions in Alexandria city for its historic value and important position then to Bibliotheca Alexandrina. The Bibliotheca Alexandrina is a revival of the legendary ancient library built in classical Greek times. The rebuilding of the library has returned Alexandria to its former status as a centre for learning and exchange and provided the city with a landmark building Finally you will drive back to your hotel in Cairo.
Day 5: Fly Cairo to Aswan – Nile Cruise Tour
Have your breakfast before Checking out from hotel in the early morning, then transfer to Cairo Airport for a flight to Aswan where you will be met and assisted, then taken by an air-conditioned vehicle to board your Egypt Nile cruise for embarkation in Aswan before Lunch. You will be accompanied by your knowledgeable Egyptologist guide for an amazing tour to visit the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and the Temple of Philae with dinner and overnight in Aswan.
Day 6: Edfu and Kom Ombo temples
After breakfast on Nile Cruise, visit the well-preserved Ptolemaic Temple dedicated to Horus at Edfu. Sail to Kom Ombo to see the unique Temple of Sobek, dedicated to Sobek the crocodile god, and Horus the falcon-headed god. Have your lunch on board. Continue sailing to Aswan. Dinner and overnight on board your Nile Cruise. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 7: Luxor Nile Cruise Tours
Breakfast on board your Nile cruise ship while sailing to Luxor with lunch on board the vessel then you will be accompanied for a wonderful tour to visit East Bank of the Nile in Luxor to the Karnak Temple and Luxor temple. You will be transferred back to the Nile cruise ship for afternoon tea and dinner on board with overnight aboard the Nile cruise vessel in Luxor.
Day 8: Luxor Nile Cruise – Fly Back to Cairo
Disembarkation after breakfast, pay a visit to the West Bank of the River Nile in Luxor to the Valley of the Kings, the temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir EL Bahari and the Colossi Memnon with free time at leisure in Luxor for great shopping opportunity and then you will be transferred to Luxor Airport for your return to Cairo where you will be met and assisted at the airport then taken to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 9: Cairo – Fly back home
Breakfast at the hotel with free time at your leisure, then you will be transferred to Cairo International Airport for your final departure. Meals: Breakfast
